Conceptual Alignment
The first phase of our design process begins with active listening. We collaborate closely with project stakeholders to understand the overarching goals, conceptual design direction, and desired functionality. This early engagement allows us to align our approach with the project vision, ensuring that the lighting design thoughtfully supports and elevates the intended architectural and aesthetic.
Design Development
​Guided by the established project vision, we delve into the technical and aesthetic details of the lighting design including fixture selection, placement, photometric analysis, and the layout of switch legs and control zones. Throughout the design process, we facilitate ongoing collaboration through regular design reviews. Our team develops comprehensive construction details and clear specifications, ensuring every aspect of the lighting design is intentional, coordinated, and unambiguous.
Finalization & Oversight
Our involvement extendsthrough project completion. We provide construction administration services which includes coordinating integrated millwork lighting, responding to contractor inquiries, conducting site visits, and assisting with controls programming. We also oversee the final focus and aiming of adjustable fixtures. In short, we remain engaged through the final stages to ensure the lighting is installed and commissioned in a way that fully realizes the design intent.
